The Hach 2100AN is a laboratory turbidimeter designed to provide accurate turbidity measurements in sectors such as drinking water, food industry, scientific research, and quality control laboratories. It is particularly suited to the demands of environmental and industrial analyses, with the capability to measure samples with turbidity ranging from 0 to 10,000 NTU.
Its optical system is based on a tungsten filament lamp combined with multiple detectors: a 90° sensor for scattering, a transmission sensor, and a backscatter detector. This configuration allows for fine analysis of suspended particles and effective measurement of colored samples or those containing optical interferences. In Ratio On mode, the device performs calculations based on multiple detectors to optimize the stability and reliability of the data.
The instrument features an intuitive interface with an eight-digit LED display for easy reading of values. Its integrated auto-calibration system allows for verification and adjustment of measurements using sealed StablCal® standards, ensuring reliable long-term measurements. The 2100AN includes an RS232 output for connection to a computer, data recorder, or integrated thermal printer, enabling optimized management of analytical results.
