BINDER UF V 700: The ultra-low temperature freezer combining performance, durability and ecology
The UF V 700 from BINDER is a new generation ultra-low temperature freezer designed to meet the most stringent requirements for the storage of sensitive samples. With a temperature range from -90°C to -40°C, it guarantees optimum thermal stability, which is essential for biomedical, pharmaceutical and environmental research laboratories, as well as for biobanks and hospitals.
This model stands out for its commitment to the environment, incorporating natural refrigerants R-290 and R-170, which have no impact on the climate. This cascade cooling technology, combined with thermal insulation using VIP (Vacuum Insulation Panels), achieves exceptional energy efficiency. With an average consumption of only 8.1 kWh/day, the UF V 700 has the lowest energy consumption in its class, while ensuring consistent cooling performance even when ambient temperatures fluctuate.
The interior of the freezer is made entirely of stainless steel, ensuring impeccable hygiene, corrosion resistance and a long service life. It is equipped with three adjustable shelves (extendable to 11), allowing flexible organisation of samples. Removable interior doors facilitate access and cleaning, while the innovative door seal significantly reduces frost formation, extending the service life of the system and reducing maintenance requirements.
The UF V 700 is also designed for seamless integration into laboratory management systems. It features an internal data logger, a USB port for exporting measurements, an Ethernet interface for network connectivity, and three rear access ports (Ø 28 mm) for integrating additional sensors or devices. A water-cooled version is also available, ideal for thermally sensitive environments or installations with high equipment density.
Safety is not neglected either: the freezer is equipped with a voltage-free alarm contact for connection to a central alarm system and can be supplemented with options such as a battery-powered alarm system, electronic code lock or CO₂ emergency cooling system.
Finally, BINDER offers a wide range of accessories (racks, cryoboxes, defrost kits, APT-COM™ management software) and customised services (calibration certificates, IQ/OQ/PQ, Bronze, Silver or Gold maintenance contracts) to support users throughout the appliance's life cycle.
