The Memmert UF160 is a versatile universal oven designed to meet the strict requirements of laboratories, research centres and industrial environments. Its design is based on perfect control of heat distribution and air circulation, ensuring optimal conditions for operations such as drying, curing, accelerated ageing or material testing. With a net volume of 161 litres and a temperature range from +20 °C to +300 °C, it offers great flexibility for a wide range of applications.
Made of high-quality stainless steel, the interior of the UF160 guarantees exceptional durability and impeccable hygiene. Its electropolished surface facilitates cleaning and reduces the risk of cross-contamination, an essential criterion in demanding environments. The chamber is reinforced with pressed ribs and equipped with an integrated heating system on four sides, ensuring perfect thermal uniformity throughout the cavity.
The control technology built into the UF160 is based on a multifunction digital PID controller with a high-definition TFT colour display. This intuitive interface allows precise adjustment of temperature, fan speed, air flap position and programme duration. The SetpointWAIT function ensures that the timer only starts once the target temperature has been reached, guaranteeing perfect control of the experimental conditions.
The air turbine ventilation system ensures uniform heat circulation throughout the chamber, with 10% increments available for adjustment. The introduction of electronically adjustable preheated fresh air allows fine control of relative humidity and optimisation of processing conditions. An exhaust valve with adjustable shutter also allows the internal vacuum to be adjusted as required.
Safety is a key feature of the UF160. It has dual protection against overheating: an adjustable electronic limiter and a mechanical limiter that cuts off the heating approximately 20°C above the set temperature. An integrated self-diagnostic system quickly identifies any malfunctions.
The UF160 also stands out for its ability to document and manage operating data using the AtmoCONTROL software, accessible via Ethernet connection or optional USB key. This solution allows treatment cycles to be programmed, saved and analysed, facilitating traceability and integration into quality protocols.
