Memmert UF30 – High-precision drying and temperature control
The Memmert UF30 is a compact universal oven designed to meet the demanding requirements of laboratories, research centres and industrial units requiring precise temperature control. Its versatility allows it to be used for a wide range of applications such as sample drying, controlled heating, ageing tests, electronic burn-in and material hardening. Thanks to its high-performance control technology and robust design, this device ensures consistent and reproducible results.
At the heart of the UF30 is a digital PID control system with a high-definition TFT colour display, allowing intuitive and precise programming of parameters. The user can adjust the temperature to within a tenth of a degree below 100 °C, and with a resolution of 0.5 °C above that. The SetpointWAIT system ensures that the processing time only starts once the target temperature has been reached, thus ensuring consistent and reliable cycles.
Air circulation is provided by a silent turbine, adjustable in 10% increments, which homogenises the temperature throughout the chamber. The introduction of preheated fresh air is electronically controlled via an adjustable valve, optimising air renewal without disturbing thermal stability. A duct extraction system with a restriction valve also allows for efficient air evacuation.
The UF30 is designed to guarantee safe and reliable operation. It features dual overheating protection: a configurable electronic regulator and a mechanical limiter that cuts off the heating at approximately 20°C above the set temperature. A self-diagnostic system quickly detects and analyses any faults, helping to reduce downtime.
The internal chamber, with a useful volume of 32 litres, is made entirely of easy-to-clean electropolished stainless steel, reinforced with deep drawing for rigidity and incorporating a heater protected on four sides. The thermally insulated door is equipped with a two-point compression lock to ensure excellent thermal sealing. The unit can accommodate up to three stainless steel shelves, each supporting up to 20 kg, for a total of 60 kg.
Compact and easy to integrate into a laboratory, the UF30 measures 585 × 704 × 434 mm and weighs approximately 45 kg. It is designed to operate in ambient conditions ranging from +5 °C to +40 °C, with a maximum relative humidity of 80% without condensation. For programming and data management, it is compatible with AtmoCONTROL software, accessible via an Ethernet interface, allowing temperature records to be read, organised and exported.
