UF55plus: A high-performance, safe universal oven for the modern laboratory
The Memmert UF55plus is much more than just an oven: it is the perfect combination of precision, safety and ergonomics. It is specifically designed to meet the thermal control requirements of scientific, industrial and quality control laboratories. Its temperature range extends from +10 °C above ambient temperature to +300 °C, enabling applications such as drying materials, thermal testing, hardening or burn-in of electronic components.
Equipped with digital PID control via the ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY system, the UF55plus guarantees fine adjustment of temperature parameters (to 0.1 °C up to 99.9 °C and then to 0.5 °C beyond). It incorporates two Pt100 probes in a four-wire circuit for mutual monitoring, ensuring safe operation even in the event of an error.
Thermal management is optimised thanks to two powerful features: HeatBALANCE allows the heat distribution between the upper and lower heating circuits to be adjusted, while SetpointWAIT ensures that the process time only starts once the target temperature has been reached. The user also benefits from calibration on three freely selectable temperature values.
In terms of ventilation, the air turbine ensures segment-adjustable forced circulation in 10% increments, promoting optimum thermal uniformity. Preheated fresh air can be mixed electronically, and exhaust is facilitated by an air outlet with a regulating valve.
Safety is a top priority on the UF55plus. The unit incorporates several levels of protection: mechanical TB limiter, TWW overheating monitor or TWB limiter (optional), AutoSAFETY system that monitors the setpoint and triggers an audible and visual alarm if it is exceeded. Automatic diagnostics complete this arsenal of safety features.
The hygienic stainless steel design, the electropolished interior with a grid, the double-locking insulated door and the configuration options (fan speed, flap position, time zones) make the UF55plus extremely versatile and easy to maintain. Its AtmoCONTROL software allows intuitive programming via USB or Ethernet.
With an internal volume of 53 litres and a maximum load capacity of 80 kg, the oven is suitable for a wide range of internal configurations (up to 4 levels). It is compatible with voltages of 230 V (2000 W) or 115 V (1700 W) and can operate in environments with up to 80% relative humidity without condensation and at a maximum altitude of 2000 m.
