Compact Touch® - B-imaging
With its 15MHz frequency probe offering over 30% improved resolution, this small, ergonomic probe facilitates use and gripping while providing enhanced discernment of ocular structures and orbit, contributing to more accurate diagnosis.
The device features B-mode biometry with the Probeam™ probe, a Quantel Medical exclusive. This technology enables axial length to be measured from an image at macula level, particularly useful for patients with high myopia and staphyloma, while ruling out other posterior pole pathologies. The implant calculation function offers a comparison between different implant types and formulas, with a total of 12 calculation formulas available, including for post-refractive surgery patients, with an accuracy of 0.25 D.
The sleek design of the Compact Touch®, weighing less than 4 kg, makes it easy to transport thanks to its folding, tilting handle. As silent as a tablet, it adapts to any environment. Its VESA mounting system enables it to be attached to a wall bracket, table or mobile cart with its articulated arm, optimizing ergonomics around the patient.
The Compact Touch® pachymetry option is essential for refractive surgery and glaucoma diagnosis. Offering several measurement modes with an accuracy of ± 5 microns and a measurement range from 200 to 999 microns, it includes correction of IOP measurements using built-in tables of correlations between IOP and corneal thickness, such as Ehlers, Doughty or Dresdner.
Compact Touch® is not just an ultrasound scanner, it's a connected ultrasound scanner. Equipped with a DICOM interface, it can import and export images and patient reports to PACS. Reports and images can be printed on a DICOM or local printer. For added convenience, a wireless keyboard and mouse can be connected.
