HI VISION AVIUS® – The compact ultrasound scanner with big vision
The HI VISION Avius® ultrasound scanner from Hitachi combines clinical performance, compactness and technological innovations to offer a high-end medical imaging solution. Designed to meet the diverse needs of practitioners while optimising user comfort, it represents the perfect combination of diagnostic reliability and cutting-edge ergonomics. With its ultra-fast signal processing architecture and advanced harmonic processing and elastography technologies, it is the benchmark for facilities seeking to offer cutting-edge imaging in a mobile and accessible format.
The HI VISION Avius® has been designed to streamline the daily work of healthcare professionals. Its operator console is equipped with a retractable alphanumeric keyboard, customisable keys and a large LCD screen with an intuitive graphical interface. This intelligent design allows for efficient management of imaging parameters, quick access to key features and a simplified user experience without compromising on accuracy. Image display is optimised with smart tabs that hide menus and galleries for full-screen viewing, ensuring maximum visual comfort for diagnosis.
In terms of imaging, the HI VISION Avius® excels with its dynamic harmonic imaging (HdTHI) technology, real-time elastography mode (HI-RTE) and high-definition zoom capabilities. These features deliver ultra-precise images with remarkable spatial resolution and contrast, suitable for all body types and clinical situations, including colour Doppler and 4D modes. The system also features a personalised correction module (PDC) that automatically adjusts the sound speed according to the patient's tissue, for optimised image quality in every examination.
HI VISION Avius® incorporates an intelligent data management system that can easily archive, search and transfer examinations to various media (USB, DVD) in multiple standard formats. It guarantees confidentiality thanks to the option of anonymising data, which is particularly useful for teaching or research purposes. Its comprehensive DICOM connectivity allows seamless integration with PACS, RIS or HIS systems for smooth and efficient patient administration.
The device is compatible with a wide range of probes – from abdominal probes to endoscopic transducers – to cover all clinical needs, from general radiology to interventional imaging. Hitachi has leveraged more than 30 years of expertise in probe design to deliver optimal signal quality, even at depth or on superficial structures. The HI VISION Avius® is therefore suitable for both general and specialised applications, all in a compact, ergonomic and scalable format.
