Memmert UN110plus – High-precision universal heating chamber for scientific and industrial applications
The Memmert UN110plus is designed to meet the most demanding thermal control requirements in laboratories, research centres and industrial environments. Its internal capacity of 108 litres, combined with an extended temperature range from +20 °C to +300 °C, allows a wide range of samples and materials to be processed. It ensures uniform heating thanks to its natural convection and optimised heat distribution on four sides, guaranteeing consistent and reproducible results.
Its design is based on the use of high-quality stainless steel for both the interior and the door, offering excellent corrosion resistance and unrivalled ease of cleaning. The interior chamber is reinforced by deep drawing with discreet integration of the heating elements, maximising the heating surface while protecting the components. The two-point door lock ensures optimal sealing, which is essential for stable thermal conditions.
The TwinDISPLAY control system allows intuitive and precise management of operating parameters. Two high-definition colour TFT screens display the temperature, air flap position, processing time and other essential settings in real time. The HeatBALANCE and SetpointWAIT functions further improve reliability: the former automatically adjusts the distribution of heating power between the upper and lower parts of the chamber, while the latter ensures that the timer only starts once the target temperature has been reached.
Sample safety is ensured by a comprehensive set of protective devices. Temperature control is based on two Pt100 sensors in a 4-wire circuit, providing redundancy in the event of failure. A mechanical temperature limiter, an overheating monitoring system and the AutoSAFETY function prevent dangerous overheating. Automatic fault diagnosis and an audible and visual alarm further enhance the reliability of the unit.
The UN110plus is also designed for energy efficiency and convenient cycle management. The fresh air intake is preheated and electronically adjustable via a motorised flap, while a ventilation connection allows for controlled gas extraction. Programmes can be created, managed and transferred using the AtmoCONTROL software supplied on a USB stick, with connection possible via USB or Ethernet. In the event of a power failure, the programmes in progress are saved for later resumption.
