The Memmert UN160 universal oven is a benchmark device for drying, heating, ageing, curing or burn-in requirements in scientific and industrial environments. The UN160 operates by natural convection, ensuring gentle and even temperature distribution, ideal for sensitive samples. The intake of preheated fresh air is electronically adjustable, allowing the drying conditions to be optimised according to specific requirements. An exhaust port with a restriction valve is also integrated for controlled humidity and gas management.
Control is via the ControlCOCKPIT SingleDISPLAY panel, equipped with a high-definition TFT colour display. This system allows precise adjustment of temperature, programme time, air flap position and other essential parameters. The integrated digital timer is adjustable from 1 minute to 99 days and includes the SetpointWAIT function, which ensures that timing only starts once the target temperature has been reached. Three temperature calibration points are available for optimal adjustment of measurements.
In terms of safety, the oven incorporates an electronic and mechanical temperature limitation system, as well as an automatic shut-off device at approximately 20°C above the nominal value. A self-diagnostic system detects and signals any anomalies, enhancing the reliability of the appliance in critical applications.
The UN160 model is equipped with two electropolished stainless steel shelves and an insulated door with double compression locking. Its external structure is made of textured stainless steel, with a zinc-plated steel rear panel, ensuring robustness and durability.
The appliance can be connected and programmed via the AtmoCONTROL software, allowing the recorded data to be read and managed via an Ethernet interface. This feature facilitates the integration of the oven into connected environments and the precise monitoring of thermal treatment cycles.
