The Memmert UN260plus is a universal oven designed to meet the most stringent thermal control requirements in a variety of professional environments. It is particularly suitable for drying, heating, ageing, hardening and burn-in operations in research laboratories, quality control departments and industrial production units. Thanks to its robust stainless steel design and precise control features, this appliance stands out as an indispensable tool for reliable and reproducible processes.
The device operates over a temperature range of +20°C to +300°C, ensured by two class A Pt100 probes mounted in a 4-wire circuit, guaranteeing constant measurement and control. The control accuracy is 0.1 °C below 100 °C and 0.5 °C above, allowing perfect control of thermal conditions. The TwinDISPLAY control system, combined with the digital PID controller, facilitates programming and adjustment of parameters, with colour TFT screens for clear and intuitive data reading.
The UN260plus offers a large usable volume of 256 litres, distributed in an easy-to-clean, electropolished stainless steel chamber reinforced by deep profiling incorporating a heating system protected on four sides. This design ensures temperature uniformity throughout the chamber, reducing variations and improving the consistency of heat treatments. Natural convection and preheated air intake via an electronic valve ensure optimised heat flow while limiting energy loss.
Safety is at the heart of the UN260plus design. It incorporates several devices such as a mechanical temperature limiter, a configurable over-temperature control and an AutoSAFETY system that automatically monitors the setpoint with a predefined tolerance and cuts off the heating if it is exceeded. Visual and audible alarms immediately alert the user in the event of a fault. An internal self-diagnostic system also facilitates the detection and rapid resolution of any faults.
In terms of ergonomics, the unit has a fully insulated stainless steel door with a two-point lock, ensuring both thermal insulation and ease of use. The stainless steel shelves can support up to 20 kg each, and the maximum chamber load is 300 kg. The AtmoCONTROL programming interface allows programmes to be easily created, managed and transferred via Ethernet or USB connection.
