Memmert UN30plus – Universal heating chamber for laboratories and industry
The Memmert UN30plus universal oven has been developed to meet the demanding requirements of research laboratories, scientific institutions, quality control departments and industrial sectors. It enables precise drying, heating, accelerated ageing, curing and thermal resistance testing of various materials. Thanks to its robust design and high-performance control technology, it ensures optimal operation even during prolonged or intensive use.
Its hygienic and easy-to-clean polished stainless steel construction not only guarantees exceptional durability but also increased safety in sensitive environments. The interior, reinforced by deep-drawn panels and equipped with heating protected on all four sides, ensures remarkable thermal uniformity. This design prevents cold spots and guarantees optimum stability of the test conditions.
The UN30plus is controlled via the TwinDISPLAY interface, which integrates two high-definition TFT screens for intuitive and precise parameter adjustment. Digital PID control ensures stable temperature rise, while the SetpointWAIT function only starts the timer when the set temperature is reached, optimising the reproducibility of tests. Measurement accuracy is ensured by two class A Pt100 probes in a 4-wire configuration, which monitor each other and take over in the event of a fault.
In terms of safety, the Memmert UN30plus incorporates several overheating protection devices. A mechanical limiter cuts off the heating approximately 20°C above the nominal temperature. Additional electronic systems monitor deviations from the setpoint and trigger a visual and audible alarm in the event of an overshoot, automatically shutting down the heating if necessary. The AutoSAFETY system automatically adjusts tolerance thresholds to prevent dangerous deviations.
The 32-litre usable volume can accommodate up to three levels of electropolished stainless steel shelves, each with a maximum load capacity of 20 kg. Natural convection, combined with the intake of preheated fresh air via a motorised flap, ensures uniform and controlled air renewal.
Cycles can be programmed and documented using the AtmoCONTROL software. In the event of a power failure, the programmes in progress are saved, ensuring that operations resume as soon as the power supply is restored. Its compact design, high thermal performance and versatility make the Memmert UN30plus an essential piece of equipment for any laboratory or industrial environment requiring precise and reliable temperature control.
