Memmert UN55pa paraffin oven – precision and reliability for sample preparation
The Memmert UN55pa paraffin oven has been specially developed to meet the demanding requirements of research laboratories, industrial analysis and quality control. It ensures stable temperature control in a temperature range from +20 °C to +80 °C, with a setting accuracy of 0.1 °C. Thanks to its two Pt100 DIN class A probes in a 4-wire circuit, the device ensures mutual temperature monitoring and takes over in the event of a fault, thus guaranteeing constant protection of the samples.
Made of hygienic, easy-to-clean stainless steel, the UN55pa offers excellent corrosion resistance and remarkable durability. Its inner chamber is virtually gas-tight and reinforced with pressed ribs, incorporating four-sided heating for optimum thermal uniformity.
Ergonomics and intuitive control
Equipped with ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY technology, the UN55pa offers precise and simple control thanks to two high-definition TFT colour displays. The digital PID controller allows for optimal temperature control and precise programme management. The HeatBALANCE function allows the heat distribution between the upper and lower sections to be adjusted, while the SetpointWAIT function ensures that the timer only starts once the target temperature has been reached.
The oven is compatible with AtmoCONTROL software, allowing cycles to be programmed, managed and transferred via USB or Ethernet. In the event of a power failure, the settings are retained so that the process can be resumed without any loss of data.
Optimal safety and reliability
Safety is at the heart of the UN55pa's design. It features a mechanical TB limiter compliant with DIN 12880, an AutoSAFETY system that automatically monitors the setpoint with a predefined tolerance, and shut-off devices in case of overheating. An integrated self-diagnostic system detects faults, and visual and audible alarms immediately alert the user.
With a volume of 53 litres, a load capacity of up to 80 kg and a maximum of 4 internal levels, the UN55pa offers flexibility of use suitable for many applications. Its thermal insulation, stainless steel door with compression lock and natural convection guarantee consistent performance while optimising energy efficiency.
