Memmert UN75 – High-precision universal oven for laboratories and industry
The Memmert UN75 universal oven is designed to meet the demanding requirements of research laboratories, scientific institutions and industrial environments that require precise temperature control. Its temperature range extends from 5 °C above ambient temperature to 300 °C, allowing for a wide variety of applications ranging from material drying to accelerated ageing, thermal stabilisation and component baking. Thanks to its natural convection system, heat is distributed evenly throughout the chamber, ensuring reproducible results.
The Memmert UN75 stands out thanks to its stainless steel design, both inside and out, which makes it robust, durable and easy to maintain. The interior, reinforced with pressed ribs, incorporates a heating system protected on all four sides, optimising heat diffusion and reducing energy loss. The fully insulated stainless steel door is equipped with a two-point compression closure, ensuring optimal sealing and efficient heat retention.
The appliance is equipped with the ControlCOCKPIT SingleDISPLAY control panel, a multifunctional digital PID controller with a high-definition TFT colour display. This tool allows precise adjustment of the temperature, air damper position, programme duration and various time zone-related parameters. The SetpointWAIT function ensures that the process timing only starts once the programmed temperature has been reached, improving cycle reliability. In addition, the oven has a digital timer that can be programmed from 1 minute to 99 days, offering flexibility of use for all types of protocols.
In terms of safety, the Memmert UN75 is equipped with a dual overheating protection system: an electronic controller and a mechanical TB limiter in accordance with DIN 12880, which automatically switches off the heating approximately 20°C above the set temperature. A self-diagnostic system also detects and reports any malfunctions.
For monitoring and traceability, the Memmert UN75 has a programme memory that is retained even in the event of a power failure. The Ethernet connection allows the AtmoCONTROL software to be used to read, manage and organise the recorded data. A USB port is also available for direct transfer, with the software supplied as a temporary version or on a USB stick as an option.
With a useful volume of 74 litres and a maximum load capacity of 120 kg in the chamber, the UN75 can accommodate up to six levels of racks or trays. Each level supports up to 20 kg, allowing several samples or batches to be processed simultaneously. Installation requirements are simple, with a minimum distance to be maintained from surrounding walls and guaranteed operation within an ambient temperature range of +5 to +40 °C.
