Huber Unistat Tango – A high-performance temperature control solution for professionals
The Huber Unistat Tango is a temperature controller designed for precise heating and cooling applications in both laboratory and industrial environments. Designed to the most rigorous standards of DIN 12876, this thermal circulator stands out for its wide operating range from -45 °C to +250 °C, thermal stability of 0.01 K and exceptionally reliable control capability thanks to the True Adaptive Control technology integrated into its Pilot ONE management system.
At the heart of the system is a natural refrigerant (R-1270) with zero global warming potential (GWP = 0), ensuring compatibility with the most stringent environmental regulations. The unit uses a stainless steel evaporator and casing for rock-solid robustness, while maintaining an optimised compact size (426 x 327 x 631 mm) for a small footprint in the workspace.
The integrated variable speed pump with soft start delivers a maximum pressure of 0.9 bar and a flow rate of 55 L/min, ensuring fast and uniform heat transfer. The unit is equipped with a thermally passive expansion tank, ensuring that the heat transfer fluid does not evaporate and preventing moisture absorption. This allows for use in closed or open circuits, with flexible installation above or below the application level.
The Pilot ONE controller, the real brain of the unit, makes navigation easy with a modern graphical interface, a 5.7" colour TFT touchscreen, an intuitive menu, memorable icons and a multilingual technical glossary. The user benefits from simplified operation with configuration assistance from software wizards and quick access to essential functions via the favourites menu. This controller also includes a thermal profile programmer (10 programmes, up to 100 steps), multi-point calibration functions and dual temperature setpoints.
The Unistat Tango is also designed for maximum connectivity: USB, Ethernet and RS232 ports, digital inputs and outputs, integration into supervision networks (via SpyLight Software or Com.G@te), enabling remote management and efficient data acquisition.
In terms of safety, it is classified as Category III / FL with visual, audible and relay alarms, ensuring rapid intervention in the event of a fault. It also complies with European (PED, EN55011, EN60034-1) and American (US-SNAP) requirements.
