UF260plus: Thermal Versatility for Demanding Applications
The UF260plus from Memmert is a laboratory oven designed for processes requiring precision, consistency, and safety in temperature regulation. It stands out as a reliable solution for heating, drying, thermal treatment, curing, baking, or aging of materials—common procedures in science, research, industry, and quality assurance sectors.
With an internal volume of 256 liters, the UF260plus ensures uniform thermal distribution thanks to four-sided heating of the inner chamber, delivering stable performance even under full load. Two Pt100 DIN Class A temperature sensors using four-wire technology enable precise and redundant temperature control—crucial for critical protocols.
Temperature regulation is managed through a digital PID controller integrated into the TwinDISPLAY ControlCOCKPIT, featuring two high-resolution color TFT displays. It allows intuitive programming of all essential parameters: temperature (in °C or °F), cycle duration (up to 99 days), air flap position, and ventilation speed. The SetpointWAIT function automatically starts the process only once the target temperature is reached.
Airflow is preheated and distributed by a turbine adjustable in 10% increments, ensuring controlled air circulation. The HeatBALANCE function, adjustable from -50% to +50%, enables personalized power distribution between the upper and lower heating elements.
Multiple safety features are included: a mechanical temperature limiter (TB), electronic temperature controller (Class 3.1) or limiter (Class 2), visual and audible alarms, and the AutoSAFETY system with continuous self-diagnostics. In case of a power failure, the device automatically stores the current cycle state.
The UF260plus is delivered with two electropolished stainless steel shelves, a double-locking stainless steel door, and a factory calibration certificate at +160 °C. Its full stainless steel construction, both inside and out, ensures easy cleaning and outstanding durability.
For remote control and integration into laboratory or industrial workflows, the oven is equipped with an Ethernet interface and USB port, and is fully compatible with the AtmoCONTROL software.
