UR-4MD: Full HD Medical Video Recorder for Secure and Efficient Documentation
The UR-4MD from TEAC is a digital medical video recorder designed to meet the demands of clinical and surgical environments. It offers a reliable and easy-to-use capture and archiving solution, while ensuring exceptional image quality. Thanks to its Full HD (1920 × 1080) compatibility, it allows detailed videos and photos to be recorded, faithfully reflecting the reality of the procedures.
Easily integrated into operating theatres, the UR-4MD features automatic video source configuration and automatic signal and resolution detection . This feature significantly reduces installation time, resulting in significant productivity gains for medical teams.
The device has a built-in 3.5-inch LCD screen that provides a real-time preview of recordings, making navigation and control easy. The simultaneous recording function on an internal hard drive, USB stick or network device provides double file security, which is essential for post-operative monitoring and data sharing. Its 500 GB internal hard drive guarantees long-term recording, with estimated recording times of up to 90 hours in high definition depending on the selected bit rate.
The UR-4MD supports MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video formats in MOV containers and JPEG, DICOM JPG and DCM image formats. It is equipped with multiple video inputs (3G/HD-SDI, DVI, S-Video, Composite) and full audio connectivity. It also has network interfaces (RJ45 Ethernet) for file transfer via CIFS or FTP, ensuring seamless integration into PACS/HIS/RIS systems.
Optional accessories such as a foot pedal, keyboard or barcode reader enable hands-free operation and fast patient data management. An update also allows integration of the DICOM Gateway module with Modality Worklist (MWL) support for an even smoother hospital workflow.
