NBVE 110/55N – High-Performance and Flexible UV-C Disinfection for Demanding Environments
The NBVE 110/55N UV-C germicidal lamp by UltraViol is an advanced disinfection solution designed to effectively neutralize airborne and surface pathogens. Engineered to meet the high standards of medical, clinical, and professional settings, this lamp combines two disinfection technologies in a single unit: air purification via a closed UV-C flow chamber (Function I) and direct UV-C radiation for surface sterilization (Function II). With this dual functionality, the lamp offers maximum adaptability and guarantees a sterile, safe environment, whether staff or patients are present or absent.
The flow disinfection function allows continuous purification of ambient air, even while people, animals, or plants are present in the room. Contaminated air is drawn into the internal chamber, exposed to germicidal UV-C rays, and released back into the space once purified. This ensures a constant level of protection against microbial threats without compromising safety. Conversely, the direct UV-C radiation mode, only to be used when no living beings are present, enables powerful and rapid sterilization of surfaces, floors, walls, and equipment.
The NBVE 110/55N’s housing is made of durable, corrosion-resistant INOX stainless steel. It includes one external 55 W UV-C tube and two internal 55 W tubes, all from trusted manufacturers such as Philips or Osram. Emitting UV-C radiation at 253.7 nm—the optimal wavelength for DNA destruction in microorganisms—the bulbs have a minimum operational lifespan of 9,000 hours, providing long-term efficiency.
Designed for wall mounting with double-sided support brackets for maximum stability, the lamp integrates seamlessly into hospitals (operating rooms, emergency departments, ICUs), labs, pharmacies, clinics, schools, hotels, spas, and beauty salons. It efficiently covers areas of 18–36 m² and disinfects room volumes from 45 to 90 m³, supported by a powerful fan with a capacity of 199 m³/h.
An integrated dust filtration system (with one pre-installed filter and five spares included) preserves UV-C effectiveness and protects internal components. Two independent switches on the device allow separate control of each function, offering user-friendly flexibility depending on specific needs. The unit does not include a built-in timer; operating time is managed manually.
