NBVE 60/30 PL – Mobility and Performance for Professional UV-C Disinfection in All Environments
The NBVE 60/30 PL germicidal lamp from the NBVE series by UltraViol is a modern, high-performance disinfection device designed for settings where air and surface cleanliness is critical. It operates using UV-C technology, a proven method for the rapid and effective elimination of harmful microorganisms. This model stands out for its dual disinfection capability, treating ambient air through a closed UV-C flow chamber and disinfecting surfaces via an external UV-C tube for direct exposure. With this dual mechanism, it can be used throughout the day whether the room is occupied or not, making it ideal for medical, paramedical, educational, and commercial spaces.
The flow disinfection function (Function I) enables continuous air treatment in the presence of people. Contaminated ambient air is drawn into an internal closed chamber, exposed to high-intensity UV-C radiation, and then released purified into the environment. This ensures a constant reduction in microbial load without posing a health risk to occupants. The second function (Function II) uses an external UV-C tube for direct surface disinfection, which must be activated only when the room is unoccupied to ensure powerful sterilization of surfaces, equipment, floors, and walls.
The NBVE 60/30 PL is mounted on a mobile five-arm stand that provides excellent stability and easy movement across various locations. This mobility makes it suitable for examination rooms, labs, patient rooms, beauty salons, hotels, or classrooms. Its lamp housing is made of corrosion-resistant INOX stainless steel that is easy to clean and built to last. Its compact design (600 x 600 x 1300 mm) allows for discrete integration even in small spaces.
The device features three UV-C tubes (two internal and one external) of 30 W each, provided by Philips or Osram, emitting at a germicidal wavelength of 253.7 nm. These tubes have a minimum useful life of 9,000 hours. With a ventilation capacity of 132 m³/h, it effectively treats room volumes between 25 and 50 m³ and covers an effective surface area of 10 to 20 m². The radiation intensity of the external tube is 100 µW/cm² at a one-meter distance.
For simplified operation, the NBVE 60/30 PL is equipped with two independent switches integrated into the body, allowing each function to be controlled separately. It also features two mechanical inductive hour counters, one for each function, to monitor lamp usage. An anti-dust filtration system protects the internal components and maintains optimal UV-C efficiency. A 3-meter power cord with a socket plug ensures flexible and convenient connection.
The NBVE 60/30 PL meets electrical safety standards (Class I) and is rated IP 20.
