Vacuson 60 – Reliable performance for surgical suction requirements
The Vacuson 60 from Nouvag is an electric suction pump designed for healthcare professionals for surgical procedures requiring the efficient removal of body fluids and secretions. Its field of application ranges from general surgery to subcutaneous liposuction, thanks to a suction capacity of up to 60 litres per minute. This high capacity, coupled with vacuum regulation down to -0.9 bar, ensures optimal fluid management, even during prolonged or high-volume procedures.
Designed for use in medical environments, the Vacuson 60 allows precise adjustment of the vacuum pressure thanks to a front regulator combined with a pressure gauge for continuous visual monitoring. It is operated exclusively via a pneumatic foot pedal, which guarantees activation without direct contact with the device, limiting the risk of cross-contamination. An optional VARIO-AIR foot pedal allows progressive control of the suction power by adjusting the ambient air flow.
Its compact and robust structure (360 x 300 x 280 mm) allows it to be positioned 1 metre above the floor, with good visibility of the pressure gauge and direct access to the controls. Integrated safety devices, such as the float-operated overflow valve in the jars, prevent any accidental backflow of liquids into the pump. The single-use bacterial filter guarantees protection of the system and must be replaced after 8 hours of use or upon contact with foam or infectious liquids.
The Vacuson 60 operates on mains power (115 V or 230 V depending on model), with a maximum power consumption of 400 VA. It complies with Class I electrical safety requirements and is equipped with type BF protection.
Fully sterilisable on parts in contact with fluids, it is compatible with reusable jars or the single-use FLOVAC® system, offering flexibility of use according to clinical needs. Thanks to its simple design, each component can be dismantled and cleaned efficiently.
