VENTIlogic LS: A complete and mobile ventilation solution
The VENTIlogic LS is a state-of-the-art ventilation device developed by Löwenstein Medical, designed to meet the complex needs of patients with respiratory failure. It is intended for use in life-support ventilation, whether in hospitals or at home, and is suitable for both adults and children weighing 5 kg or more.
This ventilator stands out for its ability to operate with three types of patient circuits: the leak circuit, the single patient circuit with valve, and the dual patient circuit with valve (exclusive to the LS model). This flexibility allows for optimal adaptation to any clinical situation, whether invasive or non-invasive ventilation.
The VENTIlogic LS offers a wide range of ventilation modes, including CPAP, S, ST, T, PCV, aPCV, PSV, SIMV, VCV, aVCV, MPVp and MPVv. These modes allow for fine-tuning of therapy, with precise settings for respiratory rate, inspiratory time, IPAP/EPAP pressures and tidal volume. The device also incorporates the LIAM (Lung Insufflation Assist Maneuver) function, which facilitates lung insufflation to support coughing and improve alveolar recruitment.
Mobility is at the heart of the VENTIlogic LS design. It is equipped with an internal rechargeable battery and can accommodate a removable battery, each providing up to 4.5 hours of autonomy. This allows for extended use on the move, particularly during intra-hospital transfers or at home. The dedicated carry bag ensures optimal protection and comfortable use on the move.
The integrated monitoring system allows real-time monitoring of ventilation parameters, with display of pressure, volume and pressure/volume curves. The intuitive user interface, combined with clear and effective alarm management, ensures maximum patient safety and ease of use for healthcare professionals.
The VENTIlogic LS is also compatible with the SpO₂ module for measuring oxygen saturation and pulse, as well as with the VENTIviews software for analysing and archiving treatment data. It has a full range of connectors for integration into hospital alarm systems or for use with the VENTIremote control unit.
