The Humphrey 740i visual field analyzer offers enhanced guided progression analysis (GPA) software that automatically identifies statistically significant progression. The Visual Field Index (VFI) is a new intuitive global index for determining the percentage of field loss, providing a clearer assessment of the situation. Model deviation plots identify local field loss, minimizing the effects of ocular media such as cataracts.

Advanced features of the 740i include STATPAC, which compares results to exclusive age and glaucoma databases, as well as kinetic, customized, and social security tests for a variety of testing protocols. HFA-NET Pro connectivity with EasyConnect RCT enhances office efficiency, while the DICOM gateway option supports connectivity.

The touchscreen and menu interface make operation simple, while the ergonomic design ensures maximum comfort and versatility. With a 40 GB hard drive storage capacity, the 740i offers networking capabilities and customizable printing for comprehensive data management.
