VISULAS YAG III Photodisruption Laser - Good Condition 2013

Medical Specialties: Ophtalmology

The VISULAS® YAG III from ZEISS is a high-precision photodisruption laser designed for the treatment of secondary cataracts and glaucoma. Thanks to its Super-Gaussian beam, variable focus and four-point aiming system, it offers gentle, fast and extremely targeted treatments, even in busy clinical environments. Integrated with a high-quality diagnostic slit lamp, it ensures optimal comfort for both the practitioner and the patient.

Description

VISULAS YAG III – Sensitive precision for ophthalmic therapy

The VISULAS® YAG III from ZEISS represents the third generation of optical expertise in laser photodisruption for ophthalmic practice. This laser workstation combines state-of-the-art engineering with a detailed understanding of clinical requirements, enabling targeted disruption in just 4 nanoseconds.

Equipped with a Super-Gaussian beam, it concentrates exactly the right amount of energy at the treatment site: typically 2.5 mJ in air, reducing the risk of damage to the eye structures. Its pulse repetition frequency of 2.5 Hz allows for fast and efficient treatment, ideal for practices with high patient volumes.

Energy modulation is provided by 22 attenuation levels, offering maximum flexibility and fine gradation for minimal and controlled procedures. Its variable focus system precisely positions the beam in front of, on or behind the break point, eliminating the need for manual defocusing.

The four-point aiming system ensures exceptional accuracy, allowing astigmatic distortions to be detected before firing. This improves patient safety and comfort while extending the life of the laser generator.

The VISULAS YAG III integrates the laser source directly into a diagnostic slit lamp, which can also be used independently. This compact design includes a lowered illumination prism, a short corneal microscope and a slim architecture that is perfectly suited for daily use.

Its control panel is an intuitive, compact and ergonomic control centre. With an anti-glare touchscreen and a rotary knob, the practitioner can fine-tune the laser parameters while maintaining a clear view of the treatment area.

In addition, the ACCENTO™ eyepiece allows direct visualisation of the laser parameters during the procedure. ZEISS also offers a wide range of accessories to extend diagnostic capabilities and improve practitioner and patient safety.

The VISULAS YAG III is a precision tool designed to meet the demanding requirements of capsulotomy and iridotomy treatments while offering a user-friendly interface, sophisticated ergonomics and formidable efficiency in the clinic.
