Description

Vivo 55: Versatile Mechanical Ventilator for Home and Hospital Respiratory Care

The Breas Vivo 55 is a respiratory care ventilator for adult or paediatric patients weighing more than 10 kg who require temporary or continuous ventilatory support. Thanks to its robust Scandinavian-inspired design, it fits perfectly into a variety of clinical settings: at home, in hospitals, in long-term care facilities, or even for mobile use on wheelchairs or stretchers. The Vivo 55 offers a comprehensive and high-performance solution for a wide range of respiratory conditions, including those requiring life support.

This ventilator provides invasive or non-invasive ventilation, with extensive compatibility for different types of breathing circuits, whether calibrated intentional leak or expiratory valve. It offers a wide range of ventilation modes such as VS, VACI, PC, PAC, CPAP and mouthpiece ventilation (MPV) to meet all clinical requirements. Customisable profiles allow settings to be quickly adapted to the specific needs of each patient.

The user interface is simple and clear, with direct access keys for easy navigation, even in emergency situations. The Vivo 55 is quiet (less than 30 dB(A)), which is essential in sensitive environments or at home.

Integrated physiological monitoring enables accurate and reliable monitoring, including oxygen saturation (SpO₂), exhaled CO₂ concentration (EtCO₂) and inspired oxygen concentration (FiO₂) measurements. Real-time display of digital data, curves and respiratory loops is coupled with trend storage for up to 365 days, with export via Breas Cloud solutions. This continuous monitoring allows healthcare professionals and carers to better understand the patient's progress and adjust treatment if necessary.

Designed for optimal mobility, the Vivo 55 has a battery life of 12 hours thanks to the combination of an internal 4-hour battery and an 8-hour clip-on battery. Its protective cover ensures safe outdoor use. This device is part of a sustainable care approach, offering a reliable, flexible solution that is suitable for all situations.
