Arium® Mini by Sartorius: Ultrapure Water Purification
The Arium® Mini by Sartorius is an ultrapure water purification device designed to meet the demanding needs of laboratories. With its compact dimensions and advanced technology, it enables the production of high-quality water while optimizing workspace. The ultrapure water produced meets ASTM Type 1 standards, ensuring high reliability for analytical and biological applications.
This system is specifically designed for laboratories that use a moderate volume of ultrapure water daily. Its integrated 5-liter reservoir, made of multilayer material compliant with ISO and USP standards, protects pretreated water from secondary contamination. This design prevents biofilm accumulation and ensures stable conductivity.
One of the major features of the Arium® Mini is its intuitive touchscreen, which simplifies navigation and control of the purification process. The interface provides direct access to key information such as water quality, temperature, and remaining volume. With precise dispensing control, users can adjust the delivered water volume in 50 ml increments.
In terms of performance, the device ensures a typical conductivity of 0.055 µS/cm and a resistivity of 18.2 MΩ.cm, guaranteeing optimal water purity for sensitive scientific applications. The Arium® Mini is available with an optional UV lamp, which reduces the total organic carbon (TOC) content to less than 5 ppb, ideal for analyses requiring ultra-clean water.
The device operates with a depressurized input pressure and a temperature range between 2 and 30°C, making it compatible with various upstream purification methods such as reverse osmosis or deionization. Its water output flow rate reaches 1.0 l/min, allowing for rapid and efficient supply.
Thanks to its quick-connect system, maintaining the Arium® Mini is simple and fast. The reservoir can be exchanged in less than 5 minutes without the need for chemicals, ensuring reduced maintenance and increased reliability. The integrated pump contributes to better water circulation, optimizing filter quality and lifespan.
The Arium® Mini also stands out with its filtration technology, including a pretreatment cartridge and an Arium® Sterile Plus filter, ensuring effective retention of particles and microorganisms. This filter, compliant with ASTM F-838-05 standards, reduces microbial contamination to less than 0.001 CFU/ml.
Its compact design and small footprint allow for easy installation in any laboratory. Its empty weight of 13 kg and operating weight of 23 kg ensure optimal stability during use.
