The Wprobe is a wireless gamma probe designed for sentinel lymph node (SLN) localisation, a crucial element in cancer diagnosis and treatment. This probe is equipped with technical features that address the most significant challenges of sentinel lymph node biopsy as a surgical technique.
The Wprobe is designed to offer increased accuracy and sensitivity , which are essential for locating the most complex sentinel lymph nodes. The Wprobe kit includes a medical tablet with a 10.1-inch screen, ensuring optimal visibility from anywhere in the operating theatre. The customised software is easy to use and offers new features to get the most out of the probe, such as multiple isotope detection, labelled nodes, maximum cps, full range mode, and more.
The Wprobe is wireless and connects via Bluetooth, making it easy to transport and use in the operating theatre. The probe is also waterproof and can be immersed in water and safely cleaned in a disinfectant solution without requiring a sterile cover.
