XGEO GU60A: Samsung's intelligent digital radiography system for next-generation medical imaging

At the heart of the XGEO GU60A is a high-resolution TFT/CsI flat panel detector, delivering sharp images with excellent signal-to-noise ratio. With an active matrix of 3072x3072 pixels and a spatial resolution of 3.5 lp/mm, it captures the finest details while limiting exposure thanks to ALDAS (Advanced Low Dose Amorphous Silicon Sensor) technology. This system is therefore part of an eco-responsible approach, minimising the dose received by patients without compromising on quality.
The integrated Smart Stitching function allows examinations of the spine or lower limbs to be performed in a single merged image from multiple shots. This greatly simplifies long-range examinations and improves diagnostic interpretation. Automatic collimation control, the use of copper filters and the automatic exposure control (AEC) system complete this technological arsenal for controlled, optimised and safe imaging.
In terms of connectivity, the XGEO GU60A supports all essential DICOM protocols, enabling full integration into hospital networks (HIS, RIS, PACS). Thanks to the XGEO Station interface and its image processing software, healthcare professionals benefit from a modern working environment with powerful tools (annotations, auto cropping, local contrast adjustment, geometric measurements, etc.). Finally, the RMS remote management system enables real-time performance monitoring with remote diagnostics and technical support.
