XS-1000i Haematology Analyser - Perfect Condition

Medical Specialties: Hematology

The Sysmex XS-1000i is a compact, high-performance haematology analyser, ideal for low-throughput laboratories requiring reliable and detailed results. Thanks to its fluorescence flow cytometry technology and closed aspiration of only 20 μL, it provides a complete blood count, including leukocyte, erythrocyte and platelet parameters. Easy to use, it features an innovative aspiration sensor, an intuitive Windows® interface and a one-click automatic stop function. Compatible with an optional sampler, it ensures seamless integration into your laboratory solution.

Description

XS-1000i haematology analyser: maximum precision in a compact format

The Sysmex XS-1000i is part of the X-Class series of analysers, combining high analytical accuracy, ease of use and a small footprint. Designed for laboratories that, despite a more modest processing volume, demand impeccable results, this device embodies technological rigour in a compact format.

Thanks to Sysmex's exclusive fluorescence flow cytometry technology, the XS-1000i performs complete blood counts with excellent differentiation of white blood cell populations. Red blood cell and platelet analysis is based on the DC sheath flow hydrodynamic method, ensuring accurate and consistent results. In addition, haemoglobin measurement remains accurate thanks to a dedicated channel using an environmentally friendly cyanide-free method (SLS).

One of the key features of the XS-1000i is its low aspiration volume of just 20 μL. This reduced volume is particularly advantageous for neonatal and paediatric departments or any situation requiring small samples. The closed aspiration system, via direct perforation of the tube cap, prevents direct contact with blood and improves user safety. An intelligent sensor systematically ensures accurate aspiration of 20 μL, optimising the reproducibility and reliability of analyses.

Designed for user comfort, the XS-1000i is extremely easy to use. All operations are centralised via an information processing unit (IPU) running on Windows®. Thanks to interactive menus and clear icon-based navigation, even inexperienced users can get started right away. At the end of the day, a single button triggers a complete automatic shutdown in two to three minutes, without the need for additional reagents.

The XS-1000i is also designed to integrate easily into the existing work environment. It uses the same reagents as the other devices in the X-Class series and has the same user interface. It can therefore be used as a complement or backup solution without the need for additional training.

Reagent management is optimised thanks to a portable barcode reader that automatically records critical information: name, batch, expiry date, volume. This data is linked to the user ID, which enhances traceability and facilitates compliance with quality standards. A dedicated screen also displays the remaining reagent volume for better anticipation.

In terms of connectivity and automation, the XS-1000i can accommodate an optional automatic sampler , enabling greater process standardisation. This mixes samples, reads barcodes, queries the laboratory's computer system and processes requests automatically. The user simply starts the process and the device works autonomously.

The XS-1000i's Sample Explorer system can store up to 10,000 results, including graphs, facilitating access, validation and export of data to the LIS system. Thanks to powerful filters and sorting criteria, each sample can be found in just a few clicks.

The XS-1000i embodies Sysmex's promise to deliver cutting-edge technology that is accessible, reliable and tailored to the needs of modern laboratories, even those with low throughput.
