The Cynergy Yag Laser - Treating Vascular and Pigmentary Lesions.
This device utilizes two reference wavelengths to effectively target a wide range of skin conditions, including facial and lower extremity telangiectasias, angiomas, rosacea, couperose, erythrosis, lower extremity varicosities, and signs of photodamage.
The two reference wavelengths are:
- Pulsed dye laser 585 nm: This wavelength is particularly effective for treating small-diameter vessels, such as those associated with rosacea and couperose. It carries a low risk of scarring due to its shallow penetration and high selectivity.
- Nd:YAG 1064 nm: This wavelength is excellent for treating larger-diameter vessels, up to 3 mm. It is ideal for treating facial and lower extremity telangiectasias.
It utilizes Multiplex technology, allowing sequential emission of both wavelengths through a single optical fiber and handheld piece. This means vessel clearance can be achieved at lower fluence levels, thereby reducing potential side effects.
The laser provides optimal results achieved more quickly than many other laser systems that have only one wavelength. Treatment parameters are customizable, allowing the treatment to be tailored to the individual needs of patients.
