Design and Comfort

Its short working distances effectively reduce user fatigue, and the color-LCD control panel ensures convenient access to setting parameters. Additionally, it features a powered rudder to facilitate low-amplitude movements and a rear functional cursor on the patient's side (S-switch feature), allowing for precise power adjustments without head movement. This enables the user to fine-tune the treatment energy without losing focus on the target, maintaining a clear view through the lens.

Equipped with an LED lighting slit lamp and featuring a stable color temperature suitable for laser applications, the device ensures a clear and natural view of the targeted eye structures with minimal aberrations.

Adaptability to the Focus System and Applications

Achieving focus is made easy with the double-sight aiming beam that can rotate over 360°. This allows the user to select the optimal focus area, overcoming challenges posed by corneal opacities. Once the focus is established, it becomes possible to defocus the beam over a broad range of values, from -500µm anterior to +500µm posterior, commonly used in capsulotomy treatments. With a continuous variation in increments of 25µm, the focus and treatment adapt to various eye morphologies.

In cases where the targeted structure is robust, such as the iris in peripheral iridotomy surgery, the Burst mode enables the accumulation of up to 3 laser impacts in a single shot (activated by a single press of the joystick button). This enhances the impact's power, making the process quicker and safer, as the area affected by 2 or 3 pulses remains precisely the same.
