ZEEnit 700 P spectrometer: Analytical performance for atomic absorption
The ZEEnit 700 P is a compact and powerful atomic absorption spectrometer designed to meet the most stringent requirements for elemental analysis. It combines two atomisation techniques in a single device: the graphite furnace technique with Zeeman background correction and the flame technique with deuterium background correction. Thanks to its two separate sample chambers, it allows quick switching between modes without manual intervention, ensuring maximum efficiency and reducing handling errors.
Zeeman background correction is based on a transverse unipolar magnetic field modulated at 200 Hz, enabling precise separation of specific and non-specific signals. This technology ensures excellent baseline stability and increased sensitivity, even in complex matrices. The optical system of the ZEEnit 700 P, based on a modified Czerny-Turner monochromator, offers high resolution with variable slits (0.2 to 1.2 nm) and a wide spectral range from 185 to 900 nm.
Robust design and integrated safety for reliable operation
The ZEEnit 700 P is designed for safe use in the laboratory. It incorporates numerous safety measures: flame sensors, gas pressure detectors, siphon level monitoring, and UV protection. Critical components such as the graphite furnace are cooled by a KM 5 mobile unit, ensuring stable temperatures and a long service life. The system is also equipped with a radiation detector for thermal recalibration of the furnace, ensuring consistent accuracy.
Maintenance is facilitated by easy access to components, automated furnace cleaning programmes and detailed instructions for replacing parts. The ASpect LS software allows complete control of the device, including management of lamps, autosamplers and analytical parameters.
Analytical flexibility with modular accessories
The ZEEnit 700 P supports a wide range of accessories to expand its analytical capabilities. It is compatible with autosamplers for liquids (AS-GF), solids (SSA 600/SSA 6), and hydride and mercury techniques (HS 50, HS 55, HS 60). The SFS 6 injection module allows continuous sample feeding, while the automatic scraper ensures burner cleaning in nitrous flame mode. These accessories make the system ideal for multi-element analysis, trace and ultra-trace measurements, and automated production environments.
