Ivoclar is an international family-owned company specialising in the dental field, founded in 1923 in Zurich and now based in Schaan, Liechtenstein. It designs, develops and markets high-quality products and systems for dentists, dental technicians and hygienists, covering areas such as dental aesthetics, fixed and removable prosthetics, and digital dentistry. The company combines in-depth research and continuous training: it has an R&D centre with more than 240 employees, cooperates with renowned universities and runs the International Centre for Dental Education (ICDE) at its headquarters, in addition to numerous regional centres. In 2022, Ivoclar modernised its visual identity by removing the suffix "Vivadent" from its brand name to emphasise its simplicity and focus on the essentials and innovation. In 2023, it celebrated its centenary with a new headquarters and a turnover of 856 million Swiss francs, while employing around 3,600 people worldwide and distributing its products in some 130 countries.
