Programat EP 3010 G2: Pressing and Firing Furnace for Dental Laboratories
The Programat EP 3010 G2 is designed for firing and/or pressing dental ceramic materials in the laboratory. The firing chamber, designed to operate under vacuum, reaches temperatures of up to 1200°C, while a dedicated pressing device manages the pressing phase. The cycles are controlled by software; the device continuously compares the setpoint and the actual temperature in order to maintain the thermal profiles required by dental materials. This targeted use and construction in accordance with laboratory safety standards are in line with the expectations of the dental industry.
Clear Interface, Visual Monitoring and Programme Management
The control unit combines a colour touchscreen and a dedicated keypad. Monitoring is viathe Optical Status Display (OSD): green (ready), red (programme in progress), yellow (self-test/standby), with configurable audible notifications. Mode selection (Firing/Pressing) is straightforward; depending on the mode, the device sets a typical operating temperature: 403 °C for firing and 700 °C for pressing. The software management includes Ivoclar material programmes (write-protected), 300 internal free programmes and 300 free programmes on a USB stick. Options such as two-step programme, pre-drying, pre-vacuum, slow cooling and Thermo Shock Protection (TSP) help to precisely adapt the cycles.
Connectivity and Traceability for Workflow
The furnace can be connected to the local network via an Ethernet port (RJ45) for the IoT function and the Programat app (notifications). Protocol creation is provided: internal storage, USB printing, or PC synchronisation via PrograBase. A copy wizard facilitates the duplication of groups/programmes; a user code protects certain settings. For commissioning and routine maintenance: self-test at start-up, guided calibration and reminders. The permitted operating conditions (ambient temperature, humidity, altitude) and EMC compatibility are specified for use in a laboratory environment.
