Surgical versatility for optimal leg positioning with the 1133.54BC Double-jointed leg plate
The 1133.54BC is a double-jointed leg plate designed by Maquet to meet the most rigorous patient positioning requirements in the operating room. Specially designed to integrate with Maquet ALPHAMAXX modular operating tables, this plate is a reliable and flexible solution for procedures requiring unobstructed access to the lower body while ensuring comfort and precise anatomical support of the lower limbs.
Thanks to its two manual joints, the 1133.54BC leg plate allows each leg to be positioned independently according to the requirements of the surgical procedure. This flexibility facilitates leg abduction and rotation, which are essential in specialities such as urology, gynaecology, orthopaedics and vascular surgery. The coded attachment system ensures quick and secure mounting on the dedicated interface of the operating table, while guaranteeing automatic detection of the component by the table, which enhances safety during use.
The robust construction with SFC (Self-forming Cushion) padding improves patient comfort, even during long procedures, by moulding to the contours of the body while minimising pressure points. This padding is not only ergonomic, but also easy to clean and disinfect, thus complying with the most stringent hospital hygiene standards.
The plate can be tilted electrohydraulically for vertical or inclined positioning, but abduction adjustments are made manually via eccentric levers located on both sides. This configuration ensures precise handling and reliable locking after each adjustment.
Designed to support patients weighing up to 225 kg, the 1133.54BC is also compatible with a range of specific Maquet accessories, allowing for optimal customisation according to surgical requirements. It can therefore be integrated into a modular operating environment, promoting efficiency and safety for both the patient and the medical team.
