The system's low internal volume allows for rapid changes in gas concentration when needed, facilitating quick wash-in and wash-out of anesthetic agents.
The Flow-i's electronic injector vaporizers are centrally located and easily accessible, allowing for seamless switching between agents simply by touching the system's intuitive screen. These vaporizers can be refilled even while in use in the machine, including when one is still being used. Tedious calibration is eliminated as the vaporizers are fully tested during system checkout. Additionally, there is no need to preheat the Desflurane vaporizer before use.
