Description

Blue 130 surgical lighting system – The benchmark for precision and visual comfort in the operating theatre

The Blue 130 from Maquet is a high-performance surgical lighting system designed to meet the most stringent requirements of the hospital environment. Thanks to its advanced halogen technology and ergonomic design, it guarantees exceptional lighting quality while ensuring optimal user comfort for practitioners in the operating theatre. Its cylindrical light beam, with remarkable uniformity, adapts to all surgical procedures, whether long, complex or requiring particularly stable lighting.

This system offers a light intensity of 130,000 lux, ensuring perfect visibility even in the deepest anatomical areas. The light field is adjustable thanks to a sterilisable handle that allows precise adjustment of the beam diameter between 20 and 32 cm. This allows the surgeon to adjust the lighting in real time without compromising the sterility of the operating environment. The colour temperature of 4,300 Kelvin contributes to accurate colour rendering of tissues, thus promoting diagnostic and surgical precision.

The Blue 130 is designed for continuous use (24 hours a day), making it a reliable ally in busy operating theatres. Its modular suspension system includes a spring arm, canopy, connecting tubes and a comfort joint, allowing smooth mobility and precise positioning of the light head. In the event of unintentional movement or loosening of the arm, spring force adjustment and brake systems ensure constant stability.

Maintenance of the Blue 130 system is simplified: the halogen bulbs are easy to replace and the handles can withstand up to 350 steam sterilisation cycles without deterioration. The equipment is also designed to be cleaned with a soft, lint-free cloth, without the need for abrasive products, in order to preserve the longevity of the materials.

Certified according to European Directive 93/42/EEC (Class I), the Blue 130 complies with the most stringent standards for safety and medical performance. It is the preferred choice for operating theatres seeking reliability, lighting precision and impeccable hygiene, without compromise.
