HK100A-24: 24V industrial power supply – High performance and certified reliability
The HK100A-24 from Lambda (JDK) is a switching power supply designed to meet the demands of modern industrial environments. With a nominal output voltage of 24V and a maximum power of 108W, it offers a reliable solution for powering sensitive electronic equipment or automated systems.
Its compact design (34.5 mm × 93 mm × 150 mm) and light weight (540 g) make it easy to integrate into confined spaces, while ensuring efficient heat dissipation through convection cooling. This passive cooling system allows for silent operation and reduces maintenance requirements.
The power supply operates over a wide input voltage range of 85 to 132 VAC (47–440 Hz) or 110 to 175 VDC, making it compatible with various power sources. It has a typical efficiency of 82%, optimising energy consumption while minimising heat loss.
The HK100A-24 is equipped with overcurrent and overvoltage protection, ensuring the safety of connected equipment. In the event of an overload, the system automatically limits the current and resets without manual intervention. Overvoltage protection uses a reverse shutdown method, requiring manual reset to ensure enhanced safety.
A key feature of the HK100A-24 is remote voltage measurement (remote sensing), which compensates for voltage losses in the output cables by measuring the voltage directly at the load. This ensures accurate power delivery, even in installations where the distance between the power supply and the load is significant.
The HK100A-24 is designed to operate in a variety of environmental conditions, with an operating temperature range of -10°C to +50°C at full load and up to 60°C at half load. It also supports relative humidity of 30% to 90% during operation and 10% to 95% during storage.
Certified to UL60950-1 and CSA C22.2 No.60950, the HK100A-24 meets international safety standards. It also complies with FCC Class B and VCCI-B standards for radio noise, ensuring optimal electromagnetic compatibility.
Its mechanical robustness is ensured by resistance to vibrations (<19.6 m/s²) and shocks (<196.1 m/s²), making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
