The table is divided into six sections, allowing maximum flexibility to adapt the patient's position according to the needs of the procedure.

One of the major strengths of the BETASTAR is its modularity. The leg and back plates can be easily interchanged for reverse positions, thanks to the "Easy Click" system that eliminates the need to screw down the modules. This feature saves time and improves efficiency in the operating room. Additionally, the table is equipped with swivel castors that allow for easy lateral movement, in addition to straight-line travel.

The BETASTAR is also designed to offer great freedom of movement and access, which is crucial for complex surgical procedures. It can be used in various positions, including the lithotomy position with Goepel knee crutches, the lateral position for kidney surgery, and the beach chair position for shoulder operations. In terms of control, the BETASTAR uses a proven control concept with a corded handset, IR remote control, foot switch, and manual override panel. These control options allow for safe and intuitive use, with the ability to simultaneously connect the corded handset and the foot switch. The table is powered by specially designed rechargeable batteries, providing approximately a week's worth of use in the operating room, and can be recharged via a mains cable.
