Description

The Maquet Volista Access 400 Surgical Light is engineered to significantly enhance the visibility and precision required in complex surgical procedures.

A cornerstone of successful surgery is the ability to clearly see and assess the wound, and the Volista Access 400 excels in this area by optimizing color rendering and minimizing colored shadows. This high-performance surgical light is designed to improve surgical outcomes by providing bright, uniform light that adapts to the surgeon’s specific needs.

One of the key features of the Maquet Volista Access 400 is its ability to deliver a homogeneous column of light that reaches into the deepest cavities of the surgical site. This ensures that the light remains consistent and effective from the surface of the wound to the bottom of the cavity, without the need for constant readjustments. The light’s innovative design allows for stable illumination, even when the light heads are partially obstructed, thanks to the overlapping of LED sources which maintains a homogeneous light patch.

For minimally invasive surgeries (MIS), the Volista Access 400 offers green ambient lighting at the center of the light head. This reduces glare on monitors and provides sufficient illumination to allow surgical staff to navigate safely in darkened operating rooms. The light’s adaptability is further enhanced by its ability to adjust color temperatures from 3900K to 5100K. This flexibility allows surgeons to select the optimal color temperature for tissue differentiation, thus improving visualization throughout various stages of the procedure.

The Volista Access 400 also incorporates advanced features such as the Luminance Management Device (LMD), which automatically adjusts the light’s intensity to maintain optimal visual acuity. This technology compensates for variations in luminosity, ensuring consistent illumination even when light heads overlap. Additionally, the Flux Stability Program (FSP) helps maintain consistent light output throughout the procedure by increasing current to counteract the natural decrease in LED intensity over time.

In terms of infection prevention, the Maquet Volista Access 400 stands out with its antibacterial paint coating and smooth touch control panel. These features are designed to reduce bacterial colonization and facilitate easy cleaning, thus minimizing the risk of cross-contamination. The light’s design also ensures compatibility with laminar flow ceiling systems, helping to maintain a sterile environment by reducing disruptive air patterns.

The surgical light is equipped with a touch control panel for intuitive operation, allowing easy adjustments to light intensity, diameter, and focus. For added convenience, an optional wall control panel provides centralized access to all main functions, including lighting on/off, dimming options, and light patch adjustments. The system also includes battery backup indicators to ensure uninterrupted performance during procedures.

Overall, the Maquet Volista Access 400 Surgical Light combines advanced technology with user-friendly features to support precise, safe, and efficient surgical procedures. Its high color rendering index, stable illumination, and customizable settings make it an invaluable tool for any modern operating room.
