The MVP vacuum capping system from Cozzoli Machine Company is a semi-automatic solution designed for the batch insertion of caps, pistons, or plugs into filled containers. This high-performance system is particularly suited to the pharmaceutical industry and is a perfect complement to the F329 series liquid filling machines.
The MVP is distinguished by its pneumatic cap transfer mechanism, controlled by a cycle unit that regulates all assembly operation functions according to operator-selected parameters. Unlike other systems, the vacuum chamber and all container-handling parts are fully autoclavable, designed to withstand temperatures up to 232°C (450°F). The 316L stainless steel chamber can be steam sterilized, ensuring maximum cleanliness.
The operator places the filled syringes in a rigid stainless steel holder, covers them with a transfer plate loaded with pre-packaged or individual caps, and then places the assembly into the MVP's vacuum chamber. The MVP's control unit then regulates the user's vacuum, nitrogen, and compressed air utilities, programmed to remove trapped air from the product, purge the chamber, and transfer the caps into the syringes. The final venting at ambient pressure forces the caps into contact with the liquid for a secure and reliable seal.
The MVP offers control features, including selectors for vacuum-only or vacuum/purge/vacuum cycles, vacuum level settings, and timers for purge and cap transfer intervals. Capping speed and force are also adjustable, allowing precise control of the operation. Once the cycle is complete, the system automatically vents to ambient pressure, and the containers are ready for removal.
